CIBAP student graduates as Doctor in Neuroscience

Last Friday, July 26th, Daniela Cáceres Vergara from CIBAP graduated as Doctor in Neuroscience after publicly defending her thesis entitled “Effects of intrahippocampal vasopressin administration on amphetamine-induced addictive-like behavior”. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Georgina Renard, director of CIBAP, and Dr. Ramón Sotomayor from the University of Valparaíso as co-supervisor. Previously, Dr. Cáceres defended her thesis in private in front of the examining committee composed of Dr. Leonel Rojo Castillo and Dr. Estibaliz Ampuero Llanos from USACH, and Dr. Katia Gysling Caselli from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. In both instances Dr. Cáceres obtained the maximum grade of 7.0.
