Medical students participate in a paper with CIBAP Professor Christian Cea

Medical students Lucía Corral and Jhanpool Rivera participated in the review "Neurodevelopment and early pharmacological interventions in Fragile X Syndrome" recently published in the journal Frontiers in Neuroscience, a work led by Dr. Christian Cea Del Río from CIBAP of the School of Medicine.

This review highlights the relevance of therapeutic intervention for Fragile X Syndrome at critical stages of development, in addition to discussing benefits, drawbacks and limitations of potential pharmacological treatments that are in preclinical and clinical stages of development.
